The sooner the better! We suggest ordering your semi-custom invitations from us 7-8 weeks from when you would like to have them in hand to mail them out. Timelines vary depending on printing type as well as if you add on custom illustrations. We can give you a definitive timeline if you would like to email us. If you are doing fully custom, we recommend 6-9 months total!
With custom invitations, your package includes all the custom artwork, assembly and mailing, as well as the stamp costs in the packages. You are able to really customize the entire invitation where as semi-custom is limited in changes that can be made to the suite as well as the amount of proofs included in your package it is more limited.
We suggest when ordering to have a few extra sets on hand (10 extra is usually great). We do give a set complimentary to you for your photographer as well as a keepsake for you. Make sure your number of invitations needed is how many households not how many guests. Printing in smaller batches afterwards is costly so ordering a few extra in the beginning will be better in the long run!
A 3 piece suite is your main invitation card, a online rsvp/details card and the mailing envelope. The 4 piece suite is a main invitation card, a standard rsvp card, the rsvp envelope, and the main mailing envelope. The 5 piece suite is the main invitation card, the standard rsvp card, the rsvp envelope, a details card, and the mailing envelope.
